Biography
Vladimir Lee received his MSc degree in chemistry from the Far–Eastern State University (Vladivostok) in 1982, and PhD degree in organic chemistry from the Institute of Organic Chemistry Academy of Sciences of the USSR (Moscow) in 1987. After a couple of PD stays at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (Seoul, Korea) in 1996 and at the Université Paul Sabatier (Toulouse, France) in 1997, he is working at the University of Tsukuba (Tsukuba, Japan) currently holding a Lecturer position. He has been visiting professor at the several universities in Germany, France and Japan. He has authored over 110 papers in the peer-reviewed journals, several book chapters, and a monograph. He has about 200 presentations at the international and national conferences.
Research Interest
low-coordinate derivatives of the main group elements: carbene analogues, cations, free radicals, anions, multiply-bonded derivatives, highly strained small rings, as well as their transition metal complexes.
