Biography
I was born in 1967. I get my Ph. D degree at Middle East Technical University at 2001. I have been working for Karadeniz Technical University, since 1993. Following the research assistant position I have worked as a full time faculty member at Mining Engineering Department. I have taught underground mining, mine support, mine ventilation, mine design natural stone processing courses. My research area is underground mining, rock mechanics, rock breakage (cutting, sawing). I especially interested in material properties of rock and their effects in mechanical processes. Additionally, I am working on coal bed methane and CO2 Sequestration. I am currently supervising a project on CO2 sequestration. I have supervised some projects supported by intuitional and national authorities. I took part in scientific and advisory boards of some national and international meetings.
