About City

Rome, Italy is one of the great cities of the world. With its history spanning thousands of years, its monumental architecture, fabulous piazzas, colourful markets and character-filled streets, it’s truly dazzling at every turn. But if you’re embarking on a trip to Rome, you need a strategy. Otherwise, you risk getting overwhelmed by the sheer volume of things to see in the Eternal City.

For well over a millennium, Rome controlled the destiny of all civilization known to Europe, but then it fell into dissolution and disrepair. Physically mutilated, economically paralyzed, politically senile, and militarily impotent by the late Middle Ages, Rome nevertheless remained a world power as an idea.

The force of Rome the lawgiver, teacher, and builder continued to radiate throughout Europe. Although the situation of the popes from the 6th to the 15th century was often precarious, Rome knew glory as the fountainhead of Christianity and eventually won back its power and wealth and re-established itself as a place of beauty, a source of learning, and a capital of the arts.’

Rome is known for its stunning architecture, with the Colleseum, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain as the main attractions. It was the center of the Roman Empire that ruled the European Continent for several ages. And, you'll find the smallest country in the world in Rome; Vatican City. Tourists from all over the world came here and visited many places. But the most attracting places for them include the monuments and museums like the Vatican museums and the Colosseum. As legend has it, Rome was founded in 753 B.C. by Romulus and Remus, twin sons of Mars, the god of war. ... Rome's era as a monarchy ended in 509 B.C. with the overthrow of its seventh king, Lucius Tarquinius Superbus, whom ancient historians portrayed as cruel and tyrannical, compared to his benevolent predecessors.

Rome is one of the most amazing and interesting cities of the world. My tour to Rome was a lifetime experience. Therefore, I like to go back to Rome whenever there is a chance, because I fully enjoyed my experience.
